Who We Are

HospitalGuide is an independent, editorially managed directory service. We do not represent any hospital, health authority, or medical insurance provider. Our sole purpose is to give patients, carers, and medical professionals reliable, machine-readable access to hospital contact information without having to navigate fragmented government portals or unreliable search engine results.

We are not a booking platform, a telemedicine service, or a medical advice provider. We publish directory data — verified addresses, direct phone lines, and official website links — nothing more. Every listing must pass our quality gate before it reaches a public URL.

Our Verification & Quality Gate Process

Each facility in the HospitalGuide directory must pass a multi-step verification pipeline before a listing is published and made indexable. The following steps are applied to every record:

   Data Collection & Import: Hospital records are sourced from official government health authority registries and structured web directories. Raw records are imported with a default draft status — never automatically indexed.

   Content Quality Scoring: Each record is scored 0–100 across criteria including address completeness, phone number format validity, official website presence, and absence of placeholder or duplicate data. Only records scoring 85 or above are eligible for publication.

   HTTP Uptime Verification: All website URLs and official domain links are programmatically checked for live HTTP status. Dead links, redirect chains, and parked domains are flagged and excluded from published listings.

   Throttled Publication: To prevent data quality spikes, a daily publication limit is enforced. No more than 25 new hospital detail pages and 50 total new indexed pages are published per day, giving editorial review time to keep pace with automated imports.

   Ongoing Audit & Corrections: Published listings are re-checked periodically. Any visitor or hospital administrator can submit a correction request directly from the hospital's listing page. All corrections are reviewed and verified manually before being applied.

What We Do Not Publish

Trust in a medical directory depends on what it explicitly refuses to do. HospitalGuide enforces the following exclusions across all published listings:

• No fabricated ratings or reviews. We never generate aggregate star ratings or user review scores. If no verified reviews exist in our database, none are shown.
• No placeholder coordinates. Latitude and longitude are only shown when the source data contains confirmed geographic values. We never infer or estimate map coordinates.
• No fake opening hours. We do not generate or approximate operating schedules. Always contact the facility directly to confirm current hours.
• No medical advice. Nothing on this site constitutes clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. We are a contact directory, not a healthcare provider.
• No unverified external links. Every outbound link to a hospital website is confirmed live via HTTP uptime check before display. If a link is unavailable, we show a correction CTA instead of a broken or unrelated URL.
